Public Notice of the Tantalum-Niobium Production Line Quality Improvement Technical Transformation Project

In accordance with the requirements of the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment, the preliminary work for the Tantalum-Niobium Production Line Quality Improvement Technical Transformation Project of Hengyang King Xing Lifeng New Materials Co., Ltd.has been initiated. We hereby make the following announcement regarding the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the construction project:

I. Project Name and Overview

Project Name: Tantalum-Niobium Production Line Quality Improvement Technical Transformation Project

Construction Unit: Hengyang King Xing Lifeng New Materials Co., Ltd.

Construction Address: Within Songmu Economic Development Zone, Hengyang, Hunan

Construction Scale: Total investment of RMB 44.2846 million, covering a total area of 32,592 m². The project involves the construction of a tantalum-niobium production line quality improvement technical transformation project (including a 550-ton-per-year tantalum-niobium oxide production line and a 250-ton-per-year potassium fluorotantalate production line) and supporting facilities.

The EIA for this project is currently underway to assess its environmental impact during and after construction. The EIA consultant is now soliciting public comments to reflect the public's views and suggestions on the environmental protection efforts of this project. Your support is greatly appreciated.
